The Shopify-native AI visibility platform.

RevvUp.ai exists because the front door to commerce changed faster than the tooling did. In March 2026, Shopify activated Agentic Storefronts by default for all 2.8 million stores on its platform. Overnight, every merchant's catalog became discoverable inside ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Google AI Mode, and Gemini — whether the merchant opted in or not. Between 85% and 92% of those merchants have no idea whether they're showing up correctly. Some products are being cited and recommended. Others are invisible. The brands building moats in this gap right now will keep them; the brands that wait will spend years trying to catch up. RevvUp.ai is the platform built for the merchants who don't want to wait.

In one sentence: We help Shopify DTC brands go from invisible to recommended across the five AI engines now shaping consumer purchase decisions, using a platform built natively for Shopify rather than retrofitted onto it.

Why we exist

Three things happened in the 18 months between late 2024 and early 2026 that made this product not just possible but necessary:

1. AI search became a meaningful traffic source. McKinsey's October 2025 research projects that 75% of consumer information lookups will run through generative AI by 2028, with AI surfaces already redirecting 20–50% of traffic away from traditional search. The brands cited by AI engines are capturing demand that used to flow through Google. The brands not cited are losing it without seeing it on a dashboard.

2. Shopify made every merchant's catalog AI-discoverable by default. The March 2026 activation of Agentic Storefronts wasn't an opt-in feature. It applied to every store on the platform. The implication: AI visibility is now a default-on commerce surface for 2.8 million merchants, most of whom have never measured or optimized for it.

3. The five major AI engines diverged enough that one-size-fits-all tooling stopped working. ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Copilot, and Gemini each retrieve from different parts of the web, weight different signals, and surface different brands. The citation overlap between them dropped to roughly 12% in 2026 research. A brand strong in Perplexity might be invisible in Claude. A brand cited everywhere in ChatGPT might be missing from Copilot's product carousels entirely. Generic AI visibility tools that report a single unified score hide more than they reveal.

The intersection of these three shifts is where RevvUp.ai lives: a Shopify-native platform that measures, audits, and ships fixes across all five engines independently, with the structural depth Shopify merchants actually need.

What we believe

A few specific convictions that shape how the product gets built:

Visibility is plumbing, not magic. AI engines don't reward marketing voice; they reward structured data, fact density, third-party corroboration, and recency. The brands that win are the ones that publish ingredient percentages, certifications, dimensions, and suitability statements as structured data — not the ones with the cleverest taglines. The product is built to make that plumbing easy.

Citations are the new shelf space. Getting recommended by AI is more like getting stocked on a retail shelf than ranking on Google. The brands AI engines mention shape the consideration set before the shopper sees anything. Citations compound; missing citations compound the wrong direction.

Shopify-native beats Shopify-compatible. Every meaningful operational fix in AI visibility ends in a write to the Shopify catalog. Generic GEO tools surface gaps and hand off a PDF; the actual work then has to be implemented by a developer ticket queue that takes weeks. We push fixes directly to Shopify via the Admin API, reversibly, with human-in-the-loop review, in the same week the audit was run.

Measurement has to survive the CFO meeting. Revenue attribution against actual Shopify orders — not modeled estimates, not GA4 proxies. Our numbers tie out to your financial reports because they come from the same source.

Honesty about scope is a feature. We tell merchants what AI visibility can do for them and what it can't. We're explicit about the timeline (4–6 weeks to first citation movement, 60–120 days to material revenue), the honest variance in AI engine responses, and the limits of what a platform can automate. The brands that win with this channel are the ones who understand it accurately, not the ones we hyped into expectations we can't meet.

What we build

The platform runs on a four-step process:

01 · Intent — We map the high-intent AI prompts driving real commerce in your category, across all five engines, and tie each prompt to the SKU in your catalog that should be winning it.

02 · Measure — We score your visibility against that prompt graph with citation rate, mention rate, and source rate broken out per engine, refreshed weekly.

03 · Audit — We diagnose every gap against the five trust signals AI engines actually weight, ranked by the revenue you'd unlock by fixing it.

04 · Fix — We push the ranked fix queue directly to your Shopify store — Schema.org markup, metafields, llms.txt, FAQ blocks, freshness updates — with human-in-the-loop review and full reversibility.

Behind that process: deep vertical playbooks for the eight categories where AI search is reshaping commerce fastest, and Shopify-native integration that ships in two clicks rather than two months.

Who's behind the platform

RevvUp.ai is built by a small founding team with combined operating experience spanning enterprise SaaS, ecommerce, AI/ML, marketing, and product. The expertise the team brings to the problem:

We've made a deliberate choice in this phase to focus the company's external presence on the product, the customers, and the results — not on individual founder personalities. We believe the strength of the platform should speak louder than any single team member's profile. The product is what we want evaluated; the team's role is to make the product unmistakably useful to the merchants who depend on us.

The values that shape what we build

Five operating values, in practical form:

1. Honest urgency. AI commerce is changing fast, but we don't manufacture urgency to drive sales. The Tuesday Narrative — Shopify activated Agentic Storefronts for 2.8M stores, 85–92% of merchants don't know whether they're cited correctly — is real, dated, and verifiable. We use it because it's true, not because it's compelling marketing.

2. Specific, defensible numbers. Every claim on our site, every audit number, every revenue estimate, every benchmark — sourced and defensible. If a number can't survive a CFO conversation, we don't use it.

3. Honest accounting of what we don't do. We don't manage paid acquisition. We don't manage your email or SMS programs. We don't replace your SEO consultant. We're explicit about scope because misalignment of expectations is the worst customer outcome we can produce.

4. Customer success is the moat. We've committed to making our first design partners genuinely successful, because their results become the credibility we earn for the next 1,000 customers. Customer wins compound; customer churn compounds the wrong direction.

5. Build natively, not adjacent. Every integration decision starts with "what does Shopify-native look like" rather than "what's the universal version." Shopify Plus customers, Hydrogen builds, and the Agentic Storefronts admin section all get first-class support because that's the platform our customers actually run on.

Where to engage with us

For the right partner conversations, we have clear paths:

We're not currently running press, careers, or status-page surfaces — by design. Our energy in this phase goes into the product, the design partners, and the platform. Those public surfaces will come when we have something meaningful to put on them.

Questions

We've made a deliberate choice to focus the company's external presence on the product and customer results rather than founder personalities. The team brings combined operating experience across commerce, AI, product, marketing, and engineering — but we believe the strength of the platform is what should be evaluated. The product is the public surface. The team's role is to make it work.
A real company. RevvUp.ai Inc. is a Delaware C-corp with a full-time founding team and a dedicated engineering partner building the platform. The MDP is shipping May 2026 with a clear product roadmap through 2027.
We're built natively for Shopify and pursuing the Built for Shopify certification, but we're an independent company. RevvUp.ai is not owned by, operated by, or formally affiliated with Shopify, Inc. We integrate with Shopify's published APIs the same way any other Shopify app does.
We're privately held and not currently sharing detailed funding information publicly. For sophisticated partners with legitimate diligence questions (large enterprise customers, agency partners with significant book-of-business exposure to us, potential strategic partners), we share appropriate detail in the right conversation.
The founding team is distributed across multiple cities, with a primary anchor in the US. We're not building a physical headquarters model in this phase; we operate as a distributed team focused on shipping product and supporting customers.
ask@revvup.ai is the primary external contact for general inquiries, partner conversations, and design-partner applications. We don't currently publish individual founder contact details — that's deliberate in this phase. For partnership conversations, reach out directly at ask@revvup.ai.
We minimize the data we collect (no customer PII, no order detail beyond attribution metadata), HMAC-verify all webhook deliveries, and operate under SOC 2 controls with formal Type II audit scheduled for 2026. See Built for Shopify certification for the full security and compliance picture.
Yes. The free audit is the standard evaluation path — connect your Shopify store with two-click OAuth, see your real baseline audit in 60 seconds, evaluate without committing to anything. No credit card. No sales call required.
